Body Sculpting With NuEra Tight
If you have cellulite or loose skin, you may think that drastic plastic surgery is your only option for getting rid of it. But the field of body contouring uses new technologies to eliminate unattractive sagging skin and cellulite.
NuEra® Tight by Lumenis® is one of the newest body contouring techniques that can help you achieve dramatic results. Even better, the procedure is virtually painless and recovery time is minimal.
Our providers at eleven19 Medical + Weight Loss explain more about the NuEra Tight procedure and whether it might be right for you.
What body contouring is
Body contouring is a way to transform your appearance without surgery. Most methods of body contouring use some form of laser therapy to reduce fat and tighten your skin. Body contouring can target many areas of the body, including your:
- Chin
- Arms
- Stomach
- Hips
What Lumenis NuEra Tight is
Lumenis NuEra Tight is a type of body contouring that uses radiofrequency (RF) energy to target your trouble spots. More specifically, RF technology removes fat cells, wrinkles, and cellulite. The device transmits heat to deeper layers of skin, tightening the cells and skin and promoting collagen production.
How much heat the RF device emits depends on how deeply it needs to penetrate your skin. If you want to remove fat cells, for example, the RF waves may need to penetrate more deeply.
What you can expect from Lumenis NuEra Tight
Although you may have some apprehension about the NuEra Tight procedure, it’s not necessary. The heat from the laser is generally only mildly uncomfortable at most and should not be painful. Some of our patients say it feels like a hot stone massage.
Recovery from the procedure is also usually a quick process. You may experience some localized redness, but that generally fades quickly.
NuEra Tight is a two-phase system. The first phase is called Get Smooth, which is an initial series of four to six treatments. If you’re looking for skin smoothing, you need these treatments about every two weeks. If you’re looking for cellulite reduction, treatments are recommended once a week.
The second phase of the system is called Stay Smooth. During this phase of treatment, you work to maintain your results with touch-up treatments every two to three months.
Who should not get NuEra Tight
Although NuEra Tight is generally considered a safe procedure, it’s not the right choice for everyone. Some of the people who are not good candidates for this procedure include:
- Pregnant women
- People with active infections
- People who are heat-sensitive
- Anyone with new piercings and tattoos
In addition, tell us before treatment if you have any metal implants, pacemakers, or injectable fillers.
NuEra Tight is a revolutionary new way to get rid of some of your trouble spots without the pain or long recovery of plastic surgery. If you have questions about NuEra Tight, we would love to talk to you. Contact us at one of our three locations: Santa Ana, Ontario, or Fullerton, California.
